**We offer Two Unique Programs in our Summer Camp Experience**

Academic Camp

This is a 36-hour camp running through out the summer. We like to make this camp experience as flexible as possible so we offer camp starting in June and ending in August. You may pick any 36-hours within those 2 months. The camp will be made up of multiple centers that will be individually based on the client's needs and learning style. Within the centers, we will focus on the academic endeavors for the upcoming fall and spring semesters. We will use the Ace Reader® program for fluency and comprehension in reading, the LiPS® program by Lindamood-Bell for phonological awareness, four separate Lexia® programs for phonological awareness, site word building, consonant and vowel sounds, visual-spatial skills, logical reasoning and much more. These are only a few programs that we will be using throughout the summer. The Swank Summer Camp will be a multi modality experience that every person will benefit from no matter the age group.

Interactive Metronome Camp

The Interactive Metronome is a brain based rehabilitation assessment and training program developed to directly improve the processing abilities that affect attention, motor planning, and sequencing. Research shows significant results in people with ADD, ADHD, PDD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia and sports training.

Some of the following are testimonials from clinicians who have used the IM program:

In our clinical experience, IM training appears to address spatial problems at the neural level - preparing the brain to be receptive to learn - and because of the repetitions, it becomes automatic." -Barbara Fisher, PhD, a Neuropsychologist and head of Cognitive Precision Therapy As for the clinical usefulness of the IM, as my intuition originally suggested, I have found the IM to be an extremely helpful intervention for motor planning and sequencing problems. It is helpful in the motor and sequencing aspects of language as well as attention and motor coordination." -Lorrainne Jones, MA, CCC-SLP, PhD, heads Kid Pro Therapy, a speech, occupational and physical therapy center in Tampa, FL and author of the book For Parents and Professionals: Expressive Language Delay

The IM camp duration is 15 separate one-hour sessions. The sessions need to be as consecutive as possible for maximum benefit.
